Joke of the Day #31

I wanted to tell a scary joke today, and Mom finally agreed to let me use this one.  It's kind of gross.  Sorry about that.  :)

What is the soft stuff between sharks' teeth?

Slow swimmers.

:)

A message from David:  Thank you SO MUCH for watching and reading!  We hope to do more jokes in the future!  :)

A message from David's mom:  I echo David's thanks!  It's been a joy to watch David take on this joke project; and seeing the pleasure he's gotten from those of you who have read, have commented, have shared on Facebook, and, most of all, have laughed has made my heart swell with gratitude for each of you.  Thank you for encouraging my favorite eight-year-old comedian!!!  :)

Joke of the Day #30

What is the difference between broccoli and boogers?

Kids don't like to eat broccoli!

:)

LEGO Fun!

Last night Josiah dumped our big box of LEGOs out onto the floor; and he, Dad, Tobin, Shav, and I started to build things out of the LEGOs. Here is the stuff I built. (Oh, and by the way, there is someone in the building that the assassin is trying to kill. The assassin is the one in the middle of the picture below.)

Joke(s) of the Day #27

So many great jokes left to tell!  So little October left!  How about if we go ahead and cram two more jokes into today's post?  :)

Like yesterday's, these two jokes share an easy-to-decipher theme.  They're just meant to go together!

By the way, my mom liked my facial expressions in this first video; but then she thought it might be hard for people to hear the words.  So she asked me to do it all over again, louder.  Then she couldn't decide which one she liked better, so she's posting both.  You don't have to watch both of them though; they say the same thing.  :)

What do you call an elephant in a phone booth?

Stuck!

What time is it when an elephant sits on your fence?

Time to get a new fence!

Joke(s) of the Day #26

How about a two-for-the-price-of-one post?  Both of these jokes have something in common.  Bet you'll be able to figure it out really soon.  :)

Sometimes it takes a few tries to make a successful video.
Sometimes a telephone rings at the wrong time.
Sometimes a brother forgets and runs through the scene.
Sometimes you get it right.  :)

What is gray, has big ears, and a trunk?

A mouse going on vacation.

Hickory, dickory, dock,
Three mice run up the clock.
The clock struck one,
But the other two got away with minor injuries.

Joke of the Day #25

Why are basketball players never asked to fancy dinners?

Because they're always dribbling.

Joke of the Day #23

Note from David's mom:  My apologies for not getting this one posted by the usual time.  David had recorded the joke a few days ago; but I'm the one who does the posting, so the fault is mine entirely for the lateness of this!

Also, it has come to our attention that it is difficult to hear and understand all the words of the jokes.  We are working on having David project his voice (believe me, he can be quite loud when he so desires!).  :)  But part of the difficulty is that our little camera that we use to record these doesn't pick up sound very clearly.  So, to make sure that the jokes can be understood, I am going to leave a big space below each video and then write out the words of the joke.  That way, whoever wants to watch the video and hear the joke can do so without automatically seeing the words.  If you desire to read the joke, simply scroll down!  :)

What word has the most letters in it?

Mailbox.

Joke of the Day #9

It's not always easy to say a joke correctly when the camera is rolling!
Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right!
I think I've got it now!  :)

Playing With Brothers

Today I am playing with my two younger brothers (Tobin and Shav) "Anythingman" (a game we made up). My older brother is at the barber shop (he sweeps up hair there), and my dad is there, too. My mom is getting Moriah and giving her lunch.

Starting a Blog

Hi, my name is David. Today my mom made me a blog, and I found out that it was really fun. And now we'll get to the main part.

I am seven years old (almost eight), and I like doing gymnastics, and I play the violin and piano, and I like to play with my brothers and my sister. Oh, and how could I forget Dad? He takes us out to breakfast on Wednesdays.
